Casting The X-Men For The MCU

2. Wolverine - Tom Hardy

Though the saturation of Wolverine should be a concern - especially with Hugh Jackman having imparted such an impressive legacy on the character - there's no way the MCU ignores Logan.

Come the inevitable reboot's production, the 5ft 9in Tom Hardy should top Marvel's shortlist for the role. His acting abilities have never been in doubt, and though it could potentially be a franchise role too many for the actor, it's the Canadian Canucklehead he was destined to play - just check out the ridiculous selection of stunningfan-art of the actor in the suit if you need anymore convincing.

Contrasting with Logan's on again, off again relationship with Xavier's team, it'd be nice to see the Wolverine who embraced the X-Men appear in this series. Logan's been dedicated to the X-Men for years now, and in ensuring the team has a character who'd fight tooth and nail for its survival, Wolvie is an essential pick.
