5. Repairman Hot Tub Time Machine (2010)
In which case, it's probably pertinent to go with one of Chase's better recent performances. His cameo role in Hot Tub Time Machine is likely an elaborate meta-joke, since the movie is about a bunch of sad middle-aged men hoping to recapture the hedonistic days of their youth by visiting an old haunt of theirs. When it turns out the ski lodge they frequented in the eighties has fallen on hard times, they try and recreate the old days by getting off their tits in a hot tub. A hot tub time machine!!! And then they go back to the eighties so they have an excuse to dress funny, have odd haircuts, and make jokes about Michael Jackson's relative complexion. Chase appears as the mysterious repairman who tries to sort the time machine out for the heroes, likely selected for the role because the eighties were his heyday too. He does a lot with the small role, still, as a credibly bizarre and aloof so-and-so. Second best supporting role after the squirrel.
