Chris Nolan Screens The Dark Knight Rises To Warner Bros

Chris Nolan has completed his first finished cut of The Dark Knight Rises and screened the film to Warner Bros executives yesterday (Friday). The Hollywood Reporter says the director was spotted on the Warner Bros lot this past week, spending a few days putting the final touches in editing to his first rough cut before showing it to the top studio brass including, film chief Jeff Robinov and production president Greg Silverman. As the film has only been seen by the very top brass of Warner Bros, obviously there are no leaks of info about the screening, what the Warner Bros reaction to the footage was, how long the runtime of the first cut is, or what changes (if any) they have suggested Nolan make before release. But the screening this week does indicate that Nolan has scheduled himself perfectly as The Dark Knight Rises doesn't open for another four months and he has left himself plenty of time to make all the necessary cuts, tweaks that are required before July 20th, 2012. The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard.
