4. Terminator Salvation (2009)
Bales Character: John Connor Its very unlikely that Im going to enjoy a film made by someone whos credited as their nickname. Its not impossible; its just a general rule of thumb. I mean, McG? Please. Bale isnt even a fraction of his best as John Connor and seems to spend much of the movie screaming orders, screaming pleas, screaming at the D.o.Poh wait, that wasnt in the movie. Its just such an annoyinglyshouty performance and lacks so much of the characteristic depth and subtlety that Bale is acclaimed for being capable of offering which leads me to believe that he simply wasnt very well directed.
