Comic Con 2014: 10 Biggest Rumours‏

9. DC Comics Reveal All

DC ComicsDC ComicsDC are shaking things up yet again this summer, as they will purportedly be unveiling a raft of new titles - to make up for however many they've cancelled recently - that will begin in July, right around the time of San Diego Comic-Con. In fact we've already gotten a sneak peek at what these titles are gonna be, since they're currently being teased by adverts in this month's DC releases: a rebellious spin on Teen Titans, with Red Robin burning a copy of Justice League #1; Dick Grayson without his Nightwing costume, wielding a pistol; a hint at a return for Batman's deceased son, Damian Wayne; a new monthly series for the Suicide Squad, lead by Deathstroke; and an image of Harley Quinn holding the Joker's head on a platter, with the promise that she's going to "invade" Comic-Con 2014. We've heard bits and bobs about all these titles, but we reckon a lot more will get revealed during DC's panels at the convention. There's still questions that are being asked, such as what the deal is with these new Teen Titans, how Dick Grayson deals with having his secret identity revealed and technically being dead, and just how similar the new Suicide Squad will be to the one appearing on TV's Arrow. The big thing we want to see from DC is addressing some of the big controversies they've recently ended up in. All that stuff with the pervy Teen Titans cover, the delays with Forever Evil, and most recently the furore over David Finch's comments over whether or not Wonder Woman is a feminist (pro-tip: she is, duh). We want the publisher to reassure us that everything they have coming up is awesome, they've learned from our past mistakes, and that Grayson is definitely going to bleach his hair. Because apparently that's a thing. Likelihood: High. All these new titles have already been announced, so we'll no doubt be getting more details and teases about them; we might also get some more info about Wonder Woman, and who knows what else?
