Comic-Con 2016: 15 Biggest Reveals You Need To See
10. Wonder Woman Is Visually Stunning & Intense
The new three-minute Comic-Con trailer for Wonder Woman cements the fact that it's going to be a visually breathtaking and action-packed origin story for Diana Prince.
While DC's movies are so often criticised for their lack of colour, here director Patty Jenkins and cinematography Matthew Jensen have managed to combine WWI's grim realism with Wonder Woman's more vibrant costume, which hasn't yet suffered the wear and tear that made it look so beaten-up in Batman v Superman.
We also see some interactions between her and Chris Pine's Steve Trevor as she explains her origins (being willed into existence by Zeus), catch a glimpse of Wonder Woman and the Amazons in action (with fight choreography that follows the same style as Batman v Superman's terrific Batman battle scenes), and briefly meet Trevor's secretary Etta Candy.
For all of the missteps DC and Warner Bros. have made so far with their DC Extended Universe, this looks extremely encouraging, and if DC can beat Marvel to putting out a successful, female-led comic book movie, then it'll be a major tick in the win column.
