Community's Gillian Jacobs Joins Walk of Shame

Community actress Gillian Jacobs has joined Walk of Shame, the forthcoming comedy from writer/director Steven Brill. Elizabeth Banks leads the film as a highly-strung news anchor who finds herself locked out on the street with no money, no phone, ID or a car after a wild night out. Much like the plot from The Hangover, she attempts to remember the night before as she embarks on a series of misadventures and outrageous moments as she attempts to attend the most important job interview of her life. Romantic comedy haunt James Marsden was recently cast opposite Banks, with Jacobs now joining as her best friend. Jacobs has recently made the jump into motion pictures having appeared in a small role in this year's apocalyptic indie drama Seeking a Friend at the End of the World and she has a part in The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, an upcoming magician comedy starring Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and Olivia Wilde. Brill, who also wrote the script for Walk of Shame - is probably best known for the two movies he directed Adam Sandler over a decade ago - Mr. Deeds and Little Nicky. He was also responsible for the over-the-top comedies Without A Paddle and Drillbit Taylor and he most recently helmed a segment of the upcoming ensemble project Movie 43. Walk of Shame is setup at Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, whilst Film District will distribute in the US. Sierra/Affinity recently kicked off international sales at last month's American Film Market. source - the hollywood reporter
