20 Most WTF Horror Movies Of The 2020s (So Far)

1. Dashcam

Rob Savage's follow-up to his pandemic screenlife hit Host proved decidedly more polarising with audiences - largely due to Savage's decision to unleash one of the most noxiously repellent protagonists in horror film history upon audiences.

As creepily effective as the central story is - following a live-streamer who agrees to escort an elderly woman to a secret location - this is ever at odds with Annie Hardy's almost unbearably annoying conspiracy theorist main character.

Seemingly as a provocation, Savage dares audiences to root for a character who is an anti-vax MAGA supporter and, beyond that repellent description, can't help but spew inane verbal diarrhea on her live-stream at every errant moment.

It's little surprise that so many found Dashcam tough to sit through even at just 76 minutes, even if there is something refreshingly scuzzy about Savage's abject refusal to give us a Final Girl we actually want to make it to the end.
