2. It Looks...Just Like Every Other Rocky Movie

While the Rocky movies have never exactly been fiercely original sports films, it is a little disconcerting how eagerly Creed 2 appears to be clinging to the franchise's well-worn formula.

Simply, if you were hoping for anything more than a rehash of the series' typical themes and outcomes, you might want to lower your expectations.

It sure would be nice if the Creed films differentiated themselves from the mainline Rocky movies a little more - especially after Creed was basically a safe, if exceptionally executed, remake of the original Rocky - but it's sadly not looking like that's going to happen.
