Sometimes a casting choice is just so accurate that it is hard to envisage another performer in the role. The ever-brilliant Mia Wasikowska is such an actress. Her expansive filmography covers many genres and performance pallets, but her quaint, almost virginal mannerisms and hauntingly fragile beauty will be put to immaculate use in Crimson Peak. Wasikowksa has impressed audiences and critics alike with excellent work in titles such as Stoker and, most recently, Tracks. She is able to control and demand the screen regardless of present company - which for the most part consists of extremely talented people such as Johnny Depp, Nicole Kidman, Anne Hathaway and Adam Driver. We are expecting an irrevocable and intoxicating screen turn from her later this month.
