1. Mutants

When Marvel Studios brought back the rights to many characters from Fox Studios, something that feels like it happened a lifetime ago at this point, there were three properties fans were most excited about. Deadpool, the Fantastic Four, and of course, the X-Men.

Kevin Feige has teased the imminent coming of the mutants several times now, and there have even been two confirmations from both Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk that there are already mutants walking around in the MCU. Surely, the announcement of a movie can’t be that far away?

While Professor X made a cameo in the Multiverse of Madness and the franchise will be picking up the classic animated X-Men series with X-Men ’97 in the not-too-distant future, fans are desperate for a movie. Whether this is an X-Men movie, a more general Mutants movie, or even a Wolverine movie, this is the announcement fans have been waiting for for years.

Particularly after Wolverine was teased in episode three of She-Hulk, like with many of these potential announcements, now would be the perfect time to capitalise on the fans’ excitement. Whether Feige wanted to confirm the actor to bring Logan to life or not, the writer’s fingers are crossed for Taron Egerton, just the word mutant on that D23 stage will cause pandemonium on the internet.
