DCEU: 10 Characters Who Desperately Deserve A Movie Appearance

Ever since the announcement of a live action Justice League film the casting of J'onn J'onzz has been widely speculated, especially due to his involvement in the original Justice League animated series.

Martian Manhunter holds a place in fans' hearts everywhere, as he's a hero that many have grown up with. The cartoon was the closest thing that fans got to seeing an authentic version of the Justice League, and it was a great introduction to his character. You can understand, then, why many are keen to see the old martian on the big screen, bouncing off the likes of Flash and Wonder Woman.

Superman once remarked that Martian Manhunter is the most powerful being on the face of the earth. Given how effects-heavy the DCEU currently is, it's an opportunity no artist would want to pass up on - especially if his shapeshifting was portrayed onscreen. Being able to alter his appearance into anything he can think of would also add an entirely new dynamic to the Justice League.

There have been some tenuous attempts to link the Manhunter to an easter egg appearance in Man of Steel, but while the authenticity of such claims are to be debated, there's no denying that J'onn would make for a truly awesome addition to the DCEU roster.
