DCEU: 10 Characters Who Desperately Deserve A Movie Appearance

Darkseid's impending arrival will have multiple implications for the DCEU. Death walks side by side with him. Many will fall by the hands of the ruler of Apokolips.

Darkseid's inevitable leap from the comic books to the silver screen is so special because of what it will mean for the DCEU moving forward. As strong as the seven core members of the Justice League are, they will need to expand their roster a great deal if they are to stand a chance against Darkseid and his army. His presence will inevitably invite challenge and, if there aren't enough heroes on the League's roster, it'll be one they inevitably fail.

The scale of these films will also increase a great deal because a war with Darkseid will certainly be of epic proportions. The characters, the stories and even the entire films themselves will be pushed to their absolute limits if Darkseid is involved. The Batman himself needed the Hellbat, an armour made by the entire Justice League to even stand something of a chance against Darkseid. With his uncle Steppenwolf wreaking havoc on earth in the upcoming Justice League film, his appearance in the DCEU isn't a matter of if, but a matter of when.
