DCEU: 10 Characters Who Desperately Deserve A Movie Appearance

The single most anticipated story-arc to be adapted to the big screen in the DCEU is "A Death In The Family/Under The Red Hood". No question.

Given his fan favourite status, the debut of Jason Todd is inevitable. He has already been teased twice in the DCEU; once as the haunting Robin costume defaced by the Joker staring back at Bruce Wayne in Batman v Superman, and another during Harley Quinn's introduction montage in Suicide Squad where it clearly states she was an "accomplice to the murder of Robin".

Jason Todd has an almost cult-like following, and it's easy to see why. He's been to hell and back, starting out as a reckless Robin being tortured within an inch of his life by the Joker with a crowbar in front of his own mother and subsequently blown up, to returning from the dead with an inextinguishable vengeance to exact revenge on his murderer as the Red Hood. There's a lot to pick apart there, and no doubt DC will be eager to get started in the coming months.

There's no doubt that Todd's popularity will translate to ticket sales. Let's just hope his appearance comes sooner, rather than later.
