DCEU: 10 R-Rated Movies DC Needs To Make

1. Harley Quinn & The Joker

Though The Joker and Harley Quinn are set to appear in numerous DCEU movies each over the next few years, one of the more interesting propositions for the pair is a film focusing squarely on their twisted relationship.

The film is reportedly set to be a criminal love story, and if it doubles down on the truly darkly humourous nature of this pairing, there's sure to be a ton of ultra-violent potential as they murder and maim with reckless abandon.

Especially interesting is that this movie could potentially depict their murder of Robin, something we know Harley was complicit in from Suicide Squad. Doing so while showing snapping bones and blood would certainly give it an appropriately bracing quality.

Then there's the fact that a harsher rating would allow Warner Bros to really push the boat out as far as the psychological abuse aspect of the central relationship is concerned, and for those who care, they could even get a Harley-Joker sex scene in there, which surely a lot of fans would want to see.

Above all else, fans would finally get the truly horrific, R-rated Joker they've always wanted, and seeing Harley at her most unbridled would certainly be a sight to see also.

How Likely Is It?: No way. Harley has too much box office appeal for teenage girls, who alarmingly appear to find The Joker and Harley's relationship "romantic", for this to ever get an R. Not a chance. 0.5/10
