DCEU: 10 Superhero Films DC HAVE To Make

As the peak place to find epic space fights, the concept that a DCEU Green Lantern film hasn't been in the works for a long time seems frankly impossible.

With the success of franchises like Star Trek and Star Wars, DC possessing a universe-spanning comic with endless amazing characters and fantastical lands, seems like a literal diamond in modern film terms. If Green Lantern had nothing to do with superheroes, there’s still a pretty good chance it could make a sublime and successful film on the premise alone.

So add the fact it’s incredibly relevant to the DCEU, and contains some of the largest and coolest fight scenes in comic book history? And you have more potential than any single film has any right to have, as well as an untapped supply of fan hype should a potential film be just right.

With Warner Bros. stating their intention to release a Green Lantern film in 2020, it’s hard to not get too excited for what could be the best superhero film of the next year.

No pressure, of course.
