DCEU: 10 Superhero Films DC HAVE To Make

With DC films being regarded as dark and brooding, adding all the funny, witty characters the franchise has to offer seems like a natural call. Of these funny, witty characters, few make more sense to add than the personal funnyman of the Justice League, Patrick O’Brian – known perhaps better as Plastic Man.

While it’s easy to write Plastic Man off as too cartoonish to suit the slightly more serious tone of the DCEU, the success of the more comedic Aquaman film seems to prove that there is ample space for lighter toned films in the franchise.

Also, it’d allow basically infinite references to the questionable Fantastic Four films because of the similarities Plastic Man and Reed Richards share, allowing for a little bit of healthy competitive film banter.
