DCEU: 10 Superhero Films DC HAVE To Make

Although any accurate Lobo film will basically immediately get an 'R' rating, adding a bit of spice to the film universe may be just what DC needs. In fact, DC could get away with toning down the more debauched moments, so long as the general insane ‘Mad Max meets The Punisher’ atmosphere is kept.

With so many brooding-but-pure-of-heart heroes, it’s a pleasant change to throw in an anti-hero that is often genuinely a bad guy every once in a while. This is doubly true when building a large series of interconnected films, as the more you can have a film be radically different, the more diverse and interesting the franchise feels as a whole.

Despite lacking the child-friendly, merchandise-heavy aspect a lot of films use to their full financial advantage, a Lobo film has potential to encourage an entirely new market to the cinemas.
