7. FOUR Movies Are Planned For 2020

The Rumour

After the potentially bumper year of 2019 and its six movies, there are four movies planned for 2020. Warner Bros then have a general plan to release two low budget or smaller scale films and two bigger budget ones every year.

With the leak suggesting The Flash is probably coming in 2020 and previous news suggesting we will get both Green Lantern Corps and Cyborg the same year, this is slightly confusing. But then, perhaps Cyborg won't count as a "bigger budget" even with the necessary CGI? Or maybe the rumours that there won't be a stand-alone Cyborg at all are correct and The Flash will in fact be his movie too?

Either way, releasing four movies in a year is a mammoth task for the DCEU, but it's not one that wouldn't be worthwhile. It presumably won't be long until Marvel go from three to four releases on their annual slate - and as already qualified, dropping a comic book movie every 3 months is not a bad rate.

One per season? I dig it.
