The Rumour

The studio had considered Green Lantern Corps for 2018, but it'll take too long with the amount of VFX work needed. It'll feature multiple Corps, with leaders such as Larfleeze, Atrocitus and Saint Walker.

Green Lantern Corps not happening for a while is no surprise: of all the DCEU films it feels like one of the most forgotten about, and without any stars or even a director in place it won't be happening for at least a couple of years. There have been rumours we'll see a Green Lantern appearance in Justice League - while that remains to be seen, we'll probably know more after that movie either way.

The other Corps aspect is pretty interesting, given the film is Green Lantern Corps. But if we're seeing this whole world, rather than a singular focus on just one Green Lantern, then it's entirely plausible the Orange, Blue, and Red Lantern Corps would be appearing in some capacity as well. Although not mentioned, you can probably throw the Sinestro Corps in there too, which would've happened in the Green Lantern sequel had the Ryan Reynolds movie not bombed.
