DCEU: Ranking Every Big Fight Scene From Worst To Best

1. No Man's Land - Wonder Woman (2017)

Superman Justice League
Warner Bros.

2017's Wonder Woman is the best film in the DCEU so far and one of the more pleasantly surprising blockbuster films of the last decade. The film is a winning blend of action, humor and earnest emotion propelled by fantastic direction from Patty Jenkins and wonderful (ha) performances from the cast, especially Gal Gadot's Diana and Chris Pine's Steve Trevor.

Its most memorable sequence (action or otherwise) was Diana's charge across No Man's Land to liberate the small town of Veld from German military forces. Diana is presented as a kind and brave individual who would not simply stand while tyranny remains unstopped and this setpiece is a classic example of her character.

Her run through the field and subsequent takedown of German soldiers is both inspiring and thrilling; her armour is noticeably brighter than the rest of the film to show her status as a beacon of hope, she does not yield in the face of overwhelming odds and demonstrates her unparalleled skill and incredible physical might.

This setpiece represents the DCEU at its peak and sets the bar for future movies and setpieces to reach.
