10. Will Deadpool Ever Meet Hugh Jackman's Wolverine?

The Question: Considering how Wolverine's last meeting with Deadpool didn't exactly go as fans hoped, and how frequently it's teased in Deadpool's movie, will we finally get to see the two interact before Hugh Jackman hang up the claws? Or will Wolverine get rebooted and recast before this can happen? The Likely Answer: Probably, but it won't be any more than a fleeting interaction. Jackman's final film playing Wolverine will reportedly be in his 2017 solo movie, which could perhaps involve a Deadpool cameo seeing as the film will apparently be totally separate from the timeline shenanigans of the current X-Men films. A post-credits appearance from the Merc with a Mouth, perhaps? Still, the far far more likely result will be that Jackman will reprise the iconic role for a cameo in Deadpool 2, in a similar capacity to his fleeting cameo in X-Men: First Class, though hopefully a little longer. Just because Jackman won't be starring in anymore movies as the character after his next solo one doesn't mean he can't be persuaded to spend a few hours reprising the part for a fun gag. After all, he seems pretty game for that kinda thing. On the plus side, even if Wolverine is recast before this happens, Deadpool is so meta that there could still be a gag involving Jackman somehow.
