9. Feige's Famous
The introduction of Wade Wilson the mercenary, threatening a pizza delivery guy on behalf of a teenage girl, is inspired by a similar event from the comics (the outcome there is a bit more violent), although that (nor the Bea Arthur t-shirt) isn't the coolest thing going on in this scene. The name of the pizza company is Famous Feiges, a wink towards Marvel Cinematic Universe mastermind Kevin Feige. It may be a light jab at how Deadpool is sending up the genre which the producer has come to dominate, although as Feige actually worked on the original three X-Men movies (as Assistant, Co- and Executive Producer respectively) it could also be a little more of a friendly nudge.
