Deadpool 2: 10 Directors Who Could Replace Tim Miller
7. Matthew Vaughn
No stranger to helming a comic book flick (Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class) Matthew Vaughn's recent work on Kingsman: The Secret Service proved once and for all that he was a deft hand at stringing together bone-crunching action sequences while working from an R-rated, funny script.
Let's face it, Deadpool didn't have a gag as risque as the one in Kingsman's closing moments, so he definitely wouldn't be a shrinking violet in putting together what will undoubtedly be an edgier and more violent outing for the Merc with a Mouth.
Even more exciting is his constant pairing with screenwriter Jane Goldman, who, if Vaughn were to be invovled in Deadpool, would join up with the already talented stable of writers and help mould an even more polished script than its predocessor.
Despite being rumoured to direct an I Am Pilgrim feature, Vaughn is the assured hand that could very well steady the good ship Deadpool during this current development squall.
