Deadpool 2: 10 Directors Who Could Replace Tim Miller

Up until a couple of years ago Pete Travis was a British bloke that wasn't known for doing much apart from calling in episodes of The Bill and Cold Feet for the Beeb and the occasional trip across the pond to put his name on forgettable fare such as 2008's Vantage Point.

But that all changed in 2010 when he was named as the director of an upcoming Judge Dredd movie. The result was a true cult hit, a Raid esque tower shoot em'up, where everyone's favourite justice dealer finally got the run out on screens that he deserved.

But what made Dredd such a hit was Travis's style, be it working against the backdrop of great FX scenery or the confines of the Peach Trees tower block (those drugged-up slow motion scenes are begging to be in a Deadpool movie), his movie oozed style and has given him a lease of life in Hollywood as a bankable director. Don't rule him out.
