Deadpool 2: 102 Easter Eggs, Gags & References Explained
78. Fox And Friends
When Negasonic Teenage Warhead accuses Deadpool of being anti-progressive when she reveals her girlfriend, Yukio, he gets excited at their relationship, prompting Colussus to object. This, in turn, prompts Deadpool to say “Pump the hate brakes, Fox And Friends.”
Meanwhile, the Trump-baiting continues later when Deadpool calls Eddie Marsan’s creepy right-hand man “Jared Kushner.”
And on the same name-calling issue, later when he first meets her, Russell calls Negasonic Teenage Warhead "Justin Bieber" to 'Pool's delight.
77. My Little Pony
Thanks to her cheerful nature and dyed hair, Deadpool calls Yukio Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony. You'd think he'd hate her special brand of happiness, but he's actually immediately enchanted by her.
There's some speculation that she might be the same Yukio as in The Wolverine, but it's unlikely.
76. Surge?
Later, we get to see Yukio's powers in action: she has a form of electrical manipulation power and though the film doesn't reveal her mutant codename, it's hard to avoid the similarities to the comic character Surge.
She has the power to absorb and discharge electrical energy and has similarly dyed hair (though she's called Noriko Ashida rather than Yukio).
