6. Lying Dejected In The Park

In one sequence, which looks to be a replacement of sorts for the exploding barrel death that comes earlier on in the film, Wade is found lying on a park bench, suicidal and with a gun in hand, when he's approached by an elderly couple.
Obviously confused by their presence, Deadpool asks them to leave and they... don't. Then, just as he's about to shoot himself, Colossus arrives, knocks him square in the jaw, and drags him off to the X-Mansion - much like he does in the original cut.
Comparing the deleted scene with the barrel explosion, and it's easy to see why this one was cut. It just isn't as funny, and with the image of Colossus having had to pick up each of Wade's parts in order to bundle him into a sack by far the funnier out of the two, it's safe to say this one can go in the 'did not need to see' pile.
