7. The Suicide Montage Expanded

As is to be expected with any director's cut, Deadpool 2's is more than a little self-indulgent. For a film that was already described as such by some critics to begin with, that's a bit of an issue, and it's most apparent in the extended version of Deadpool's suicidal montage.

The scenes in question all stem from Deadpool's imagination, with one depicting the character attempting to be eaten alive by a polar bear at a zoo enclosure. After that comes a scene where he tries to top himself off using what looks to be bleach atop a skyscraper, before he hurls himself to the pavement in frustration.

They're two brief sequences admittedly, but it's easy to see why they ended up being cut. They don't really communicate anything the audience doesn't already know, and the two potential deaths are anything if not a little bit too extra.
