Deadpool 2: 8 Most Memorable New Characters
7. Zeitgeist
The various members of the X-Force only make brief appearances in Deadpool 2, but Zeitgeist is one of the characters who really makes an impact. Played by Pennywise himself, Bill Skarsgård, he's a mutant whose main power is the ability to spew acidic vomit from his mouth at will. It's not the most obviously useful tool in the arsenal of a superhero team but, if the Avengers can find a use for Hawk-Eye, anything is possible.
Given the very prominent dose of the off-kilter weirdness that Skarsgård brought to Pennywise, his take on Zeitgeist is a fun one within the confines of this film and it's one that will continue to be compelling if the character is ever brought back in some form or another for a future movie.
There's very little screen time for the X-Force team in Deadpool 2, but Zeitgeist does plenty to stand out in amongst that context and his unique super-power provides several of the most viscerally gruesome moments in the movie. If any of these short-lived X-Force members deserves another go around, it's Zeitgeist.
