Deadpool 2: 9 Most Likely Secret Cameos

8. Psylocke

Again, the X-Force link could well mean we'll get to see the return of Olivia Munn's Psylocke, who has actually been linked with an appearance in the Deadpool sequel for some time.

In the comics, Psylocke and Deadpool actually join X-Force at the same time (with the 2010 relaunch as Uncanny X-Force) and it makes sense that she would be brought in to the X-Force movie line-up given her escape at the end of X-Men: Apocalypse. There's a slight issue with the fact that that was set in the 80s and Deadpool is modern day, but Cable's a time traveller and who's to say he couldn't just nip back in time to pick up recruits he knows would be super valuable?

Munn didn't get enough to do in Apocalypse, and while her costume took some flack for its apparently needless sexiness, she'd be a welcome return to bust Deadpool's balls a little in an X-Force movie. She's back in X-Men: Dark Phoenix, but there's no reason she can't do both.

7. A New Wolverine

It's a little out-there, but there's certainly something to be said for Fox taking the opportunity of Deadpool 2 to sneakily introduce a new Wolverine. They've fairly recently outlined the fact that they're still pushing ahead with plans for multiple X-Men-universe movies, despite the Disney purchase and if they genuinely want to make the most of their remaining opportunities, they need to bring back their biggest, strongest brand.

If - as rumour has it - we're headed towards an X-Force movie next for Deadpool, there'd be a perfect opening for a new Wolverine to be brought back in (since he was a founding member of the Uncanny X-Force line-up). And let's face it - while an X-Force movie teaming Deadpool, Cable and others up would be good - it wouldn't be as fan-baiting or as good as if Wolverine joined up too.

So while it's a long-shot, bringing him back now (even without casting the actor - we could see him from behind only or just his fists with the familiar SNIKT sound effect) is a good idea well worth exploring.
