He might be another gag character, but Rob Delaney's Peter is great fun from the moment Deadpool accuses him of catfishing him with his headshot to his death and very welcome revival in the mid-credits scene.

He represents something comic book movies (especially such grown-up ones) have never really explored - the idea of a normal character who wants to help despite their obvious failings. He's our everyman hero and the real heart of the film (hence 'Pool saving him) and seeing him sky-diving in his office attire will never not be a wonderful moment.

He might not be the hero the world needs, but he's definitely the one we deserve.
