16. Zeitgeist

The film could have quite easily got away with casting nobodies for the X-Force team, but that wouldn't have had as much impact when they were so spectacularly killed off. So having faces as recognisable as Bill Skargard's playing Zeitgeist was a great little trick.

Had we all paid attention, knowing his name in advance might have given some hints to his (and the rest of the team's fates), but his level of fame could still have worked against that expectation.

For similar reasons to his Pennywise casting being so perfect, Skarsgard suits the acid-vomit-spewing Zeitgeist (he has a sort of weird alien look to him). He can't rank higher purely because he has so little to do, but he's part of a great trick.
