1. Deadpool Kills Ryan Reynolds

And finally, the movie's mid-credits scenes of course show Deadpool "fixing the timeline", by saving Vanessa's life, telling Peter (Rob Delaney) to go home, murdering "Barakapool" in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine universe, and both best and last of all, shooting Ryan Reynolds in the head before he can star in Green Lantern.

It's clear that the humiliation of Green Lantern's failure still haunts Reynolds, so what a wonderfully self-deprecating moment this was, to have the fictional character he plays assassinate a vaguely fictional - though clearly biographical - version of himself.

Deadpool did and said so many great things in this movie, but nothing tops that final stinger. "You're welcome, Canada", indeed.
