12. Nathan Summers Cumming Soon

Despite Wade Wilson stating in the Deadpool post-credits stinger that he'd like Kiera Knightley to play Cable, it looks like we're probably going to get a more traditional - and male - take on the character.

That's all but confirmed by the lewd graffiti on the outside of the phone booth that reads “Nathan Summers Cumming Soon!” That shouldn't come as any surprise, given that Deadpool himself confirmed his impending debut, but it's still a good hype-builder.

The question of who plays him is still very much up in the air, with the likes of Stephen Lang, Michael Shannon and Pierce Brosnan heavily linked. The hot favourite at the minute seems to be Stranger Things' David Harbor, who has screen-tested (along with Shannon) for the role.
