3. The References

Once again, despite the fact that this is a stand-alone in a VERY confusing universe (it's not the same as the mainline X-Men franchise or Logan but it has a SHIELD Helicarrier in the first movie to complicate matters), it looks like the movie will have just as much fun with Easter Eggs and references as its predecessor.

That starts early with this trailer with appearances from Charles Xavier's wheelchair (you really have to wonder what Deadpool did with him to get his chair) and the Quinjet at the X-Mansion. On top of that there's the X-Force in-joking, 'Pool's X-Men costume apeing hockey shirt, the mentions of Fox's other movies and the Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants praise.

Easter Egg hunters are going to be in for a treat.
