Deadpool 2 Trailer 3 Reactions: 8 Ups & 3 Downs

After the last trailer - and indeed the hints that we'll be getting an X-Force movie sooner or later - the reveal of Deadpool's new super-team was a particularly badly kept secret, so it's good to see confirmation now.

X-Force might not be as fashionable or as popular as the X-Men, but they're about the coolest thing in the X-Men comics universe. They're a black ops team with less of a strict morality code and the confidence to pull off missions that others wouldn't touch. Let's not call them a Suicide Squad variant, but you get the same sort of idea from them.

Watching Deadpool build a team should be a joy to behold, and a great subversion of the usual sage leader picking out ideal candidates. Instead we're getting a f**k-up - who is given no other choice but to do it - leading other f**k-ups, despite it going against everything he stands for. And, of course, it's pure bait for a spin-off film.

And looking at the cast, it does seem like there's enough talent there to justify a movie EVEN IF Deadpool isn't involved himself. Assuming Cable would be, that would be Josh Brolin, Rob Delaney, Bill Skarsgard, Zazie Beetz and Terry Crews (assuming they survive - and that's without mentioning Shioli Kutsuna, Brianna Hildebrand and Colossus' acting team, as they're X-Men). That's a better core cast than Suicide Squad had, so there's good reason to be excited.
