6. Thanos
The Mad Titan was the focal point of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a long time. The entire Infinity Saga revolved around his quest to correct the universe, and you could argue that the franchise just hasn’t been the same since he died.
The Thanos of the main continuity isn’t the only Thanos we’ve seen, however. This one was defeated by Tony Stark snapping his fingers, while others across the multiverse have been defeated by Ultron and by the Illuminati. What if there was a universe in which he was stopped by Deadpool?
Think about it: Deadpool can’t die. He would always regenerate to come back and bite Thanos in the ass, and the two have even faced off in their own comic series in the past.
It doesn’t have to be a big part of the narrative, much like how Thanos’ body was shown only for a moment in the Multiverse of Madness. The same thing in Deadpool 3 would be one of the biggest and best moments the movie could produce.
Then of course, there is the Josh Brolin element. There is currently no word on whether the likes of Domino, Blind Al or Cable will return for the third instalment in the franchise, but if the latter was there it would be almost impossible not to bring Thanos back for a Brolin-off.
