8. Angel Dust

Played By: Gina Carano. Who's Gina Carano? Over the last few years, she's been turning up in projects like Fast and Furious 6 and the Steven Soderbergh film Haywire, but the world at large knows her through her huge MMA career. Perhaps the most curious thing about Angel Dust's inclusion in the film will be whether or not her comic link to the Morlocks is hinted at, especially if potential Deadpool sequels plan on dovetailing into the X-Men films in any major way. As it stands, though, it seems that her inclusion is merely a tip of the hat to fans, with the focus being more on taking advantage of her abilities than it is in adapting her comic counterpart's backstory. With her superhuman powers stemming from increasing her own adrenaline, Angel Dust is definitely a physical role, and one that more than suits the MMA fighter bringing her to life. Hopefully, the character will be able to rise above merely being a stereotypical henchwoman, but for now it seems that that might be all the role entails, relegating her to the bottom of a roster filled with far more interesting characters.
