2. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

At the very end of the film, Deadpool attempts to make a selfless sacrifice by locking himself inside a chamber and laying down his life to prevent Cassandra from destroying all timelines with the Time Ripper.

This is clearly a reference to Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, where Spock (Leonard Nimoy) does much the same thing, suddenly sacrificing himself while Kirk (William Shatner) can only watch helplessly from behind a sheet of glass - just as Wolverine does here.

Now in fairness, Deadpool straight-up namedrops Spock and even does the Vulcan hand salute, but even so, unless you're a card-carrying Trekkie you might miss the precise specificity of this reference.
