Despite the many problems I had with Quentin Tarantino's portion of Grindhouse, I'm quite looking forward to seeing Death Proof when it opens in the U.K. in it's single form on September 21st. Sadly the version we are getting in the U.K. doesn't have the fake trailers, the scratchy reels or even Planet Terror at this point but it's great for me because I've already seen the film in it's entirety. HA! I now get to see Tarantino's extended version of Death Proof and just hope that the added scenes have made into a better film. Already from viewing the trailer, I'm quite excited. We never got to see that sexy dance from Vanessa Ferlito in the original print for a start. Maybe without having already felt a little drained after sitting in the theatre for 2 hours before Death Proof started, I might have enjoyed it more? Well we'll see in a few weeks I guess when I will review the film again, and see if it's any different to my original reaction. U.K Trailer below...
