4. It's Fast-Paced & Doesn't Outstay Its Welcome

Say what you will about the movie's scattershot style of comedy and adventure, but this is another extremely fast-moving animation that refuses to bog itself down in excessive dialogues.

Clocking in at just 90 minutes (and barely 80 once the credits roll), Despicable Me 3 hits the ground running and doesn't let up until the finish line, its snappy pace ensuring that even when a gag or sequence isn't working all that well, it's over in a few minutes at most.

In fact, much of the movie's bulk is essentially a series of skits loosely tied together by a plot, such as the Minions ending up in jail, yet the film still just about lands on the right side of coherent.

Simply, it's hard to imagine many being bored by what this film has to offer.
