8. Quasimodo's Mother - The Hunchback Of Notre Dame
Frollo, the indespicable villain of The Hunchback Of Notre Dame hunts down Quasimodo's mother as she flees to the Church in an attempt to find Sanctuary. Her baby, Quasimodo, is mistaken for stolen goods; an injustice in itself as she was only accused of being a thief because of who she was, a gypsy. Frollo battles with her in an attempt to steal her baby as she falls on the snowy steps of the Church with her head taking the full impact of her weight. She is killed instantly. With her death comes the realisation that there is no one to look after her poor, deformed child, who is then abandoned in a well by Frollo, a self proclaimed man of God. Her death is the result of nothing other than judgement by people in society who should have known better and had compassion.
