Disney Plus: 15 Biggest Movies Missing At Launch
4. The Happiest Millionaire (1967)
You might not know The Happiest Millionaire particularly well, especially if you're of the younger crowd, but the film has some important history as it was the last film that Walt Disney participated in (and the last he greenlit) before his death.
Based on the true story of the eccentric Philadelphia millionaire Anthony J. Drexel Biddle the film follows the lives of his family in a sort of painless but aimless way as the studio sought to recapture the magic of Mary Poppins. It's light on plot, but it has a wonderful Sherman Brothers score and it feels like a bit of a shame that it's not on Disney+ even if it was classed as an expensive dud at the time of its release.
