Disney Plus: 15 Biggest Movies Missing At Launch

9. Condorman (1981)

Condorman Michael Crawford
Buena Vista

You'll notice the title of this piece never refers to the "Best" movies missing, because, let's be honest, some of the movies we all remember fondly are not any good. Such is the case with Condorman, a ludicrous comedy superhero movie starring Michael Crawford that is more notorious than brilliant.

The film - about as cult as cult classics come - stars Crawford as comic book illustrator Woodrow Wilkins as he attempts to assist in the defection of a female KGB agent. Interestingly, he demands a sense of realism for his creation Condorman to such an extent that he makes a Condorman flying suit and jumps off the Eiffel Tower. Naturally he ends up working for the CIA on the defection mission, with Oliver Reed's villain on his tail.

It was panned on release - somewhat understandable - but it's now a charming, harmless joy that deserves to be acknowleded by Disney.

If you're wondering why it should have been included, watch this...
