6. Fall 2: Deadpoint
Fall 2: Deadpoint is a big ol' hot mess of a sequel, and one which fittingly concludes with an absolutely hilarious head-scratcher of a setup for a planned third film.
After surviving her harrowing plank walk ordeal, protagonist Jax (Harriet Slater) opens her sister Shiloh's (Virginia Gardner) scrapbook and finds one remaining travel destination she never got to before her death in the first film - a vertiginous, remote location called Hell's Chasm.
We then cut to Becky (Grace Caroline Currey), Shiloh's best pal and the survivor of the first film, who receives an invitation to celebrate Shiloh's life at - you guessed it - Hell's Chasm.
The film suddenly ends, leaving many viewers unsure whether the invitation is genuine or Jax has a bone to pick with Becky over her sister's death and wants her pound of flesh.
The ambiguous tone of this sequel-baiting final scene ensures we'll have to wait for the already-greenlit Fall 3 to get our answer.
