Doctor Strange: 10 Reasons It's Awesome

Excuse that pun, but yes, Benedict Cumberbatch is sure to leave fanboys largely ecstatic with his terrific rendition of Stephen Strange.

There was some understandable pre-release concern that his American accent didn't sound quite up to par in the trailers, but rest assured that it is totally convincing in the end-product, and not at all distracting like you might expect.

Cumberbatch plays the title character with a winning mix of arrogance, amusing wit and wistful seriousness that makes him unavoidably comparable to Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark, such that fans are no doubt going to be anxiously awaiting their inevitable verbal smackdown in Avengers: Infinity War.

In short, it's one of the stronger lead performances in the MCU to date, and will only bolster Cumberbatch's already sky-high fanboy cred.
