Fans of Warcraft may be familiar with this spell as it is included in the game. The Sphere is basically a bubble, coloured black, that is used to protect the sorcerer who conjurers it as they sit inside.

But the Sphere has a bit more bite than initially appears as it also absorbs all the mystical energy in the surrounding area, similar to how your sister turning up would suck all the fun out of an orgy.
