Doctor Strange: 25 WTF Moments

And just as bad as Kaecilius' sidekicks are the Masters (and their fellow Sorcerors - seemingly tens of whom are spotted training in Kamar-Taj and who appear for about 38 seconds preparing to defend the Hong Kong Sanctum).

The Masters are supposed to be prestigious figures with powers that deem them suitable candidates to guard the three Sanctums around the world. Presumably they worked up to these positions through endeavour and ability, so it's strange that they all apparently die without so much as a whimper. And we're supposed to feel something for their demise other than a vague shoulder-shrug...

And then there's the Sorcerors, who are all shown to be significantly better at magic than Strange in his training montage, and yet who are all seemingly killed off screen whenever they come to battle. They're not exactly special. And yet they're included, counter to the traditional comic book approach of having only a couple of Sorcerors.

Was it done to give Mordo some cannon fodder targets in the sequels and turn him into a serial killer? That can be the only explanation since they literally have zero impact on the plot at all.
