Doctor Strange: 7 Post-Credits Scenes They Should Have Used
6. Government Intervention
One thing the Marvel Cinematic Universe has done well has been to explore the effects that a bunch of superheroes would have on the real world - namely, the collateral damage. Civil War hit this nail the hardest, re-introducing General Ross with the 'Sokovia Accords', a set of documents designed to keep said heroes - and their destructive capabilities - in check.
And with Doctor Strange's antics set to wreak untold amounts of havoc (judging by the trailers), isn't it likely that the government would choose to intervene? In the Marvel universe, superheroes are now guided by a series of strict rules, and Strange is no exception.
Just look at the promotional footage that's been released so far - how can those reality-shifting fights we've seen not draw even the slightest bit of attention? General Ross presumably has untold power at his fingertips given his powerful status, so finding and tracking down Strange should prove no problem.
And here's the kicker; we know for a fact that Strange was being tracked by Hydra due to his namedrop in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and with Black Widow making Hydra's files public, this data won't be hard to come across. This means it's likely that Ross would show up at Strange's door and attempt to coerce him into cooperating with his branch of government, in a brief scene. It would have been nice to see that.
