Doctor Strange: 7 Post-Credits Scenes They Should Have Used

5. Catching Up With The Hulk

The last time we saw Bruce Banner/The Hulk, he was sailing off into space, untold misery and certain death aboard a rather cramped-looking Quinjet. That was during Avengers: Age Of Ultron some 18 months ago, and since then, we've heard absolutely nothing from the big green guy, save for the announcement of his appearance in Thor: Ragnarok.

And given that the latter film is unlikely to pick up from that very same moment - a safer bet is that Hulk will start the movie already in space/stranded on a planet - Doctor Strange's post-credits scene had an opportunity to fill in those blanks.

Like already mentioned with Captain Marvel, this would be completely unrelated to the film in which it's appearing, but the studio's done this before - Quicksilver's/Scarlet Witch's reveal post-Winter Soldier, anyone?

We could see Hulk leaving the Earth's atmosphere and entering the vastness of space, we could see him crash-land on a planet, and we could even see Asgard, if the ship goes that far. This accomplishes multiple things; it tells people who aren't tuned into movie news (and won't know that Hulk's in Ragnarok) what he's been up to in-between movies, and it removes some weight from the back of the Thor sequel, which now has to devote less screen time to Hulk's journey.
